    Director of Sales

    DrivAd is seeking an exceptionally motivated, smart, and driven leader who wants to make an impact at a growing start-up with your ideas and vision. The Director of Sales will build and lead the sales effort to implement our overall strategic corporate product offering.

    In addition to creating and implementing the company’s overall sales strategy, the candidate will focus on developing partnerships and strategic alliances with Fortune 2000 companies, and participate in mapping the growth of the business. Must be comfortable with ambiguously defined problems, big challenges, and be able to balance strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and implement marketing and sales strategy targeting both drivers and advertisers
    • Analyze market opportunity across corporate verticals and prioritize development
    • Target key vertical categories and develop strategic partnerships
    • Lead the development of the DrivAd platform to meet the needs of our community
    • Build and manage the sales department and budget Requirements
    • 5-10 years of marketing and sales experience at successful consumer or marketing companies
    • Experience setting up and growing a successful sales organization
    • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
    • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills
    • Understands the pros and cons of various marketing vehicles including optimizing use of web initiatives, direct mail, seminars/events, collateral, advertising, and sales tools
    • Willingness to work in a fact paced start-up environment
    • Experience working in the advertising industry a plus, but not required

    Our company really cares about employees and offer great commissions + bonuses. This position offers a realistic opportunity to make $100,000-$150,000 for an experienced talented director.

    B2B Advertising, Sr. Account Executive

    DrivAd is looking for upbeat, focused and well-organized individuals to join our new and fast-growing Sales team in the Bay Area, CA. DrivAd offers advertisers a proven ROI focused ad solution that delivers results 10 times the industry average.

    You must be comfortable making dozens of cold calls a day, and committed to gaining new clients and working in a team sales environment. You must also have demonstrated experience prospecting and growing an account list, as well as closing sales.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential new advertising accounts.
    • Handling incoming leads for designated territory or category.
    • Meeting quarterly revenue targets.
    • Pitching new business.
    • Creating and updating sales proposals and running inventory requests.

    Requirements:

    • 3-10 years experience in B2B in an advertising sales and/or online media environment, including at least one year of successful direct selling responsibility.
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent.

    Advertising, Jr. Sales Representative

    DrivAd is looking for upbeat, focused and well-organized individuals to join our new and fast-growing Sales team in the Bay Area, CA. DrivAd offers advertisers a proven ROI focused advertising solution that delivers results 10 times the industry average.

    The Jr. Sales Representative responsible for finding and developing new business. Additional activities include assessing customer needs and formulating specific solutions to individual requirements. Individual and team monthly goals will be set and achieved through the selling of advertising campaigns. Assigned to one of many territories. Business to business outside sales success is recommended but not required. Must be able to articulate and build rapport well.

    The Jr. Sales Representative is focused on selling to businesses of a small to medium size. Must have good follow-up, rapport building and listening skills, as you will be required to create future upsell opportunities. The individual will spend over half of his/her time in front of the customer making presentations, doing the necessary paperwork to report the accounts and follow up with Sales Support and the customer to ensure that error free and on time work is submitted.

    Responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively planning and preparing for sales calls.
  • Researching accounts, setting appointments, preparing advertising recommendations.
  • Meeting quarterly revenue targets.
  • Traveling within the canvass/market area to pitch new business.
  • Creating and updating sales proposals and running inventory requests.
  • Submitting the final paperwork for each account on a daily basis.
  • Requirements:

  • 1-5 years in an outside sales environment.
  • Proven planning and problem solving skills.
  • Superior spoken and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and poise.
  • Tenacity and perseverance to overcome reluctance.
  • Highly polished interpersonal skills.
  • Career minded.
  • Our company really cares about employees and offer great commissions + bonuses. This position offers a realistic opportunity to make $35,000-$50,000 first year with little or no experience in sales. A realistic opportunity for an experienced advertising sales person is $75,000-$120,000.
